Thanks to Peggy's kêrels

Thanks Juan, Julius and Stephan for letting us stay for so long, for a safe place to park Precious, for hot showers and a cool bedroom, for internet access so we could keep in touch with everyone and for help finding embassies and figuring out Angolan bureaucracy.  Let's not forget the blue bottle of gin to keep us going.  And to Julius, thank you for all your help with Precious, who is now fighting fit.

But mostly, thanks from Peggy for all the love and attention, the breaking of the rules, the constant treats and soppy kisses.

See you in a year or so.

Fica bem!

  1. Hello girls! Glad to see you are still gunning it. Fab. I'm in Abidjan. Got my visa for Mali today and will be heading out on Monday, through Mali and on to Senegal where I'll spend some time in Dakar to get my visas for Mauritania and Morocco. Big hugs.

Lizzie and I are sitting in her kitchen checking out your blog. It all sounds so exciting. Hope your good fortune continues. We'll be with your mom and the rest of the family at Helen's wedding on Saturday. We'll miss you :)

  3. Hello da cuzuz! So good to get messages on our blog! Thanks! Yes, miss you all too and felt a little left our when you all met up for Helen's wedding and will miss out again when you both go on your respective trips to SA later this year. One of the cons of choosing to go on this trip, I guess. Love to you all. X
